The Structure and it's Priorities, reveal its Process

Introduction
In the development of the government structure of the United States many elements of biblical principle was implemented. Congress and the Supreme Court begin with prayer, the teaching of Jesus Christ were intertwined in to the laws of the Court, and biblical principle was often quoted in process and procedures.

Notable political figures of American history often quoted scripture, relied on the lessons of the Bible and voted in favor of biblical principles within the Constitution. Work all these factors, it created a solid foundation of government in which is over of the most strongest in the world. Many governments of the world's, began to structure their governments based on the same pretenses and/or model.

In this message, I want to take a look at the topics of foundation and structure of scripture and how it's structure related to the structure of the United States government. It's important to understand that both have processes, procedures and priorities in order to continue to be a sound structure. We'll also take a look at the contract between structure and foundation versus the contrary. This message will be divided into three points based on our text in 2 Peter 1:5-6 and it's formality: Structure, Priorities and Process.

Point 1 - Structure
Is you look at the structure of this text you could see that it had a sense of structure. Look at the content of the letter. Peter, when he wrote the letter in which this derived, was encouraged to wow a second letter to confirm what they had been taught about Jesus. This specific text first presents a structure in a list of characteristics of am effective and productive life. This same structure was applied to the foundation of the government of the United States. In order for a structure to stand it must have a good foundation. Peter references Jesus Christ teachings as the foundation of life (2 Peter 1:3). Then He went forward to give a structure to contradict the corruption in the world. What's also cool is the fact that Peter gave a brief conclusion to define the source of this "corruption in the world", which is lust.

However, as Peter continued he gave the characteristics in an organized manner. He started with faith. Then he used the words "add to" to indicate that in a inclusive manner we should include (Not change or transition the next characteristic. Then he continued with that format until the last characteristic. In the same way the United States government was built with biblical principles at it's core. Then as it grew in it's preliminary stages it's founding fathers in an inclusive manner Incorporated laws that emphasized Christian faith and morality. When looking at the structure and it's order, you could see that if it was structures any other way that it would not stand. This revelation, reveal that the structure had a sense of intentional priority. Which we'll discuss in the next point.

Point 2 - Priority

When looking at Paul's text in verse 5-6 you have to include verse 7 as well or you can't see the full structure. The priority of the structure is important. In this instance, the first order or priority is faith. It is the foundation. Faith in Jesus Christ. This same declaration was made in 1892 when the US Supreme Court declared that "laws and institutions must necessarily be based upon the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind" which is Jesus Christ, in the case of church of the Holy Trinity v. The United States. This revelation gives of the foundation of our structure of the government which in comparison is the foundation of life as revealed in 2 Peter 1:3-7.

However, the priority of the next characteristics is what solidifies the structure and makes the entity stand. In the text, the second in priority is 'virtue'. This I had to define to get a better understanding of how it relates to faith and how it can solidify our structure.

Virtue in it's original Greek language is aret? and defined as moral, goodness or excellence. This characteristic is added to the element of faith, not transitioned from. As you can see other elements are added one behind the next. There are no transitions and no instant means in which all the characteristics are attained.

In the same way, the attributes of the government of the United States, had been emphasized. These same characteristics can be found in official documents of the government. The priority at which they were implemented over the course of time is a clear revelation of the order or priority in 1 Corinthians14:40. He used this statement to contradict the element of confusion early in the letter to the Corinthians. Can you imagine how life would be if the characteristics of a godly life had no order? It would be totally confusing. Chaos! It starts with faith. But the order was given to us by Christ and that fact is what the government of the United States was based on. Once we have a solid order, the process is carried out step by step and ultimately revealed, which leaves us to or last point.

Point 3 - Process
After the foundation has been established and the priority recognized, then the process is revealed. Peter seen this process and shared the process with believers by writing a letter. In the same way, many documents have been created by the founding fathers of the United States government that reveals the process of a good baton such as the Bill of Rights and The Amendments of the Constitution. This new revelation of process reveal in a way a map or blueprint of how to create a strong entire with a purpose to life. A Life.

With that revelation, it would be clear to say that the biblical process given by Peter to live a godly life was implemented to create a nation. A nation that was created with godly principles means that the nation was created to be a nation. As Peter clearly concludes that when these characteristics are included, they make that which stands "neither being barren" or "unfruitful" when it comes to the knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord. Then Paul continues with the contrast to explain what is love like for an entire that "lack" these characteristics, advising that they would be blind and unable to see what's to come in 2 Peter 1:8-9.

Conclusion
It's important to understand that the Word of God is life. This understanding is key to a sound life free of death and destruction. Peter in his letter to Believers express the process of a successful godly life using the teaching in which Jesus Christ preached.

The founding fathers of the United States government had to understand the core fundamental of the Christian faith. They had to be men who found that Jesus Christ was in essence the structure of life. And to achieve it they were determined to implement the Characteristics in the priority of Christ to complete a process in which is profound and defined by the Creator of all things. In essence the shear method in which the United States government was formed was revolutionary. It formed a solid country in which lived for generations with Christ at it's core.

In recent years, many situations have occurred that challenges this structure. And within this challenge is the ideology to rob the structure of its christian core which in turn will rob this country of the roots at which it loves. If you look at life's example such as a tree, a being or even the earth, if you rob it of its core, (it's root!) it shall fall. And in that there is no resurrection without Christ Himself being present. So my advice to those who read this, who have the power to how and make decisions on and for our country, steadfast and recognize the structure, priority and process at which brings life for which you live and stand. For it its core is provided by Jesus Christ, his character and his structure to stand and live the essence of life.
